TURN TO POWDER


I feel like I'm melting

Into the darkness

My screams unheard

My soul turning to powder

My heart becoming black

Screams unheard

Voices in the distance

No faces

No warmth

Just the drops of rain, as I turn to powder

And melt into the earth

In my mind I see my brain

I see the critters crawling on it

I feel them

Blood

Like a drum

Like a machine

My brain is swimming

My brain is drowning

The air

The chemicals

In my lungs

In my brain

My brain is swimming

My brain is drowning

Death

In the ground

The flesh is rotting

I see the critters crawling on it

In my mind I see my brain
